The Nevada Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball teams easily dispatched host El Dorado Springs Bulldogs in a varsity twinbill Thursday night.

The Nevada boys emerged with a 56-37 victory over their non-conference arch-rivals, while the Lady Tigers completed the sweep with a 65-38 thumping of El Do.

In the boys contest Nevada raced out to a 22-4 lead entering the second quarter, and led 32-18 at the break.

Things got heated in the second half as Nevada forward Dalton Gayman was clobbered by Trey Babcock on a fourth quarter breakaway lay-in. The excessive contact sent Gayman flying into the protective padding along the wall, and he fell to the floor in a crumpled heap.
