Former Nevada High baseball star Hinton garners Player of the Week honors

Former Nevada High School baseball star, Braeden Hinton, a 2018 graduate of the school, has had a standout freshman campaign with NJCAA affiliated Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Golden Norsemen. Hinton, whose primary position with the Golden Norsemen is catcher, also spends time at first base and in the outfield. Hinton collected Region II Player of the Week honors — for the week of April 15-22. Hinton’s stats for the week, included a .462 batting average, to go along with 10 RBI, three doubles, five walks and a stolen base. For the season, Hinton is slashing .311 with two homeruns, 22 RBI, 10 doubles, and 24 runs scored. NEO entered the final weekend of their regular season (May 3-4) 20-28 overall.
