NHS football camp on tap, June 10-13

Nevada High School head varsity coach Wes Beachler is set to hold his annual high school football camp, June 10-13.

The Monday through Thursday camp is slated to take place at the practice field adjacent to Logan Field. The four sessions are set to run from 2:30-5 p.m.

Camp participants will be led by the Nevada High School coaching staff.

The camp is open to all students entering ninth through 12th grades for the upcoming (2019-20) school year. Participants will receive a team T-shirt, shorts and Powerade.

The registration form states that campers will need to bring football cleats/athletic shoes, and shorts and a T-shirt.

Registration forms can be picked up from the high school, or be completed on Monday, June 10 prior to the start of the camp.

Beachler added that equipment checkout is scheduled for Sunday, June 9, beginning with the senior class at 4 p.m.
