Kenya Lynn Storm

Kenya Lynn Storm, 58, of Nevada passed away Friday, June 7, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, following a sudden illness.

Kenya was born May 31, 1961, in Wurzburg, Germany, the daughter of Paul “Pete” and Diane (Ireland) Moffatt. She married Scott Storm 21 years ago. The couple lived in Lake Viking for 10 years, and then moved to the family farm in Nevada about 16 years ago. Kenya was a massage therapist and massage therapy teacher at City Point Beauty Academy in Webb City. She lived a life of service for her family and her work clientele. Kenya was a beekeeper, gardener, and enjoyed living the farm life. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Nevada. Kenya was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Scott, of the home; children, Jacob Faibian (Josie) Nevada, Allison Storm, Plattsburg, Mo., and Kylie Storm, Plattsburg, Mo.; one grandchild, Bennett Faibian; nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends. Kenya was preceded in death by her mother.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at noon, Saturday, June 15, at the Elks Lodge in Nevada, Mo. Friends and family are welcome to come and celebrate Kenya’s life.
