Nevada Housing Authority to offer grab-n-go meals

Thursday, March 19, 2020

According to a release sent to the Daily Mail by Nevada Housing Authority Executive Director Carol Branham, "The Nevada Housing Authority in partnership with the YMCA will be providing grab-n-go meals to those 18 years of age and under at Fairground and Chapman Estates beginning today (Thursday, March 19) from 11 a.m. to noon. We are providing this service for those that are not able to access other programs for meals due to transportation issues."

The Crawford House & Paddock House remain closed. Routine work orders are not being conducted currently, but all emergency work orders will be responded to.

"We are making provisions to mail and/or email applications to anyone wanting to apply for rental assistance in our programs."

"We are asking for no visitors to our units except those tenants that have in-home services to reduce exposure for all. We have been in contact with tenants by phone to access any service needs. Tenants are encouraged to assure that we have current phone numbers on file and an emergency number so that we can communicate as needed."

Nevada Housing Authority tenants with questions or concerns, may call the Administrative Office, (417) 448-2730 or email nevmopha@sbcglobal.net.

"Our priority is the safety of our tenants, staff and community during this time."
