Randall Joe Handly, 71, a resident of Nevada, Mo., passed away on Wednesday March 18, 2020, at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kan.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1948, in Metz, Mo., the son of Jim Bob and Mary (Ochs) Handly. He graduated from Metz High School in 1966. Following graduation he worked as a computer programmer for Fleming Foods and Volume Shoe, both in Topeka, Kan., and The Western Insurance Company in Fort Scott, Kan.

Randy became an Ordained Minister and spent over forty years of his life pastoring numerous churches and traveling the world spreading the Word of God and touching lives through music and preaching.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a granddaughter. Randall is survived by one son, Jerrod and wife, Angela Handly, of Berryton, Kan.; four sisters, Patty and husband, Don Gauthier, of Fort Scott, Kan., Debbie and husband, Larry Selby, of Moundville, Mo., Marilee and husband, Gary Claypool, of Nevada, Mo., and Tammy and husband, Ed Bond, of Nevada, Mo.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; three nieces; seven nephews; one uncle, Glenn and wife, Bonnie Ochs, of Joplin, Mo.; one aunt, Rosalee Handly of Nevada, Mo.; and several great-nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be cremation. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Rich Hill, Mo. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
