Barbara Roxanne Moore

Barbara Roxanne Moore, 80, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at her home in Nevada. Barbara was born June 19, 1940, in Nevada, to Murl W. and Lois M. (Bryan) Boyd.

Barbara attended Nevada High School Class of 1958. She lived in Salina, Kan., while working at Raytheon-Beechcraft as a sheet metal worker in the construction of aircraft. Following her retirement in 2002 she returned to Nevada and has continued to reside here since that time. Memberships include the First Baptist Church in Nevada, where she was baptized, was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, and was a Nevada Regional Medical Center Auxiliary volunteer. Barbara enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had many friendships that lasted throughout her lifetime.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherri Krug, Oatman, Ariz., Kim Beran, Nevada, Mo., and Angela Cearley (Charles), Nevada, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Jeffery Humphries, Jason Taylor Joshua Norris, Tyler Beran, Paige Beran, Adam Cearley, Jacob Cearley, Samantha Stone; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her “furry daughter” Ellie.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 25, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.

Memorials are suggested in her memory to the Ronald McDonald House in Joplin, Mo., or the Greater American Cancer Society in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
