Vernon County Health Department reports 22 active cases of COVID-19

According to the Vernon County Health Department, the counties total confirmed cases of COVID-19 has risen to 317, with 33 probable cases, as of Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Of this total, 22 are active — this includes both confirmed and probable cases. There has been a total of 325 who have recovered from COVID-19 and three deaths in the county. Twenty-five of the total confirmed cases are travel related; 209 are close contacts; and 116 are unknown. Two cases are currently hospitalized. There has been 5,596 negative tests administered in the county.

Last week, the county reported 32 active cases — this week's update shows a decline of 10 active cases, with an increase of 33 total cases (confirmed and probable). This is because some of the previous active cases have since recovered.
