Troy Lee Bugg, 52, Jasper, Mo., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Troy was born April 20, 1969, in Lebanon, Mo., to Donnie and Vickie Bugg. He married Martha A. Poe on Dec. 13, 1990, in Miami, Okla., and she survives of the home.

Troy grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1988. For 30 years he worked construction in Nevada and in Kansas City. Troy was currently employed by JR & Company in Kansas City where he had been employed for the past two years. He enjoyed hunting, and fishing, loved his animals, cooking and eating Mexican food, and most especially loved being with his family.

In addition to his wife, Martha, he is survived by nine children, Travis Bugg (Jena), Jasper, Anna Bugg, Joplin, Leah Bugg (Christian), Joplin, Naomi Bugg (Dustin), Joplin, Bethany Cooper (Corey), Joplin, David Bugg of the home, Nathan Bugg, Joplin, Charity Bugg, of the home, and Josiah Bugg, of the home; six grandchildren, Scotty, Ellie, Zachary, Steven, Malakai, Xander, and two on the way; mother, Vickie Davis and Winston, Hot Springs, AR; two brothers, Anthony Bugg (Michelle), Hot Springs, AR, and Donnie Bugg (Lecia), Nevada; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Bugg, and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Benjamin Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Following the service everyone is invited to join the family for a dinner at the Eagles Lodge in Nevada.

Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Ferry Funeral Home.

Those in attendance will be asked to maintain social distancing and are asked to wear face masks to protect themselves and others.
