Nevada softball steamrolls Reeds Spring

Friday, September 3, 2021

The Nevada High School softball team took advantage of Reeds Spring's pitching woes with a 28-0 thrashing in three innings on the road Thursday.

The Lady Tigers (4-3) scored half their runs in the first inning alone, finishing the game with more walks and hit batsmen than hits.

The junior varsity also won its contest, 14-7.

NHS will look to continue scoring runs this weekend at the Joplin Paige Neal/Christina Freeman Invitational.
