Nevada Police investigate shooting

On Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at approximately 7:05 p.m., officers from the Nevada Police Department and Vernon County Sheriffs Office responded to a parking lot in the 2400 block of East Austin Boulevard for a report of gunshots fired.

Responding emergency personnel located one male subject inside a vehicle that had sustained gunshot wounds. The male subject was transported from the scene by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

One person has been taken into police custody and the investigation remains ongoing.

I didn't know Justin all that well, I do know the family and am friends with his father. I did have a chilling experience with the guy who shot him and I once called the police while working across the street from this man's house because he was threatening to shoot the neighbor lady while trespassing on her yard! I'm surprised he wasn't in trouble for something like this already!
