Justin Jonathan Goolsby

Justin Jonathan Goolsby, 32, Nevada, Mo., died on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, in Nevada. Justin was born Oct. 3, 1988, in Kissimmee, Fla., to Richard L. and Dana R. (Carlson) Goolsby.

Justin grew up in Kissimmee, Fla. He attended school in St. Cloud, Fla., and later graduated from Nevada High School in 2007. He worked for Stutesman Construction, then worked in the oil fields, became a heavy equipment operator, then traveled and worked in the United States as a certified crane operator. Justin loved spending time with his family, traveling, and barbecue get togethers. He had a very giving personality, he loved and experienced life to the fullest. Justin also loved collecting and shooting guns, working on old Chevy trucks with his father, and playing video games. He will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his fiance, Maria Morris, Nevada and her children, Jonathan, and Vaylora; a daughter, BriLynn Goolsby of Nevada; parents, Rick and Dana Goolsby; paternal grandfather, Jerald Goolsby, of Nevada; maternal grandmother, Charlene Karnes, of Nevada; brother, Derek Goolsby, of Nevada; sister, Ashley Goolsby, of Nevada; two nephews, John Logan Foreman, and Ridge McDaniel; a host of extended family and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada, with Pastor Megan Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
