John Earl Knox

John Earl Knox, 78, Nixa, Mo., passed away on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at Sun Terra Springs in Springfield, Mo. John was born Dec. 5, 1942, in Pineville, Mo., to Chester Oliver and Elnora Mildred (Lewis) Knox.

John married Pamela Sue Dies in Eureka Springs, Ark., on Nov. 2, 2015. He was an auto salesman and enjoyed buying and selling at flea markets. John was a Christian, he enjoyed traveling and meeting people.

In addition to his wife, Pamela, John is survived by four children, Jessica Scott (Mark), of La Habra, Calif., Lisa Moore, Dallas, Texas, Kathy and Anthony; two stepdaughters, Tobi Brownlow (David), Nixa, Mo., and Katrina Cochran (Anthony), Broomfield, Colo.; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other stepchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Hartford.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, at the National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kan.
