Jeremy Alan Marquette

Jeremy Alan Marquette, age 42, of Sheldon, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, in Nevada, Mo. He was born on June 9, 1979, to Alan Alsman and Jackie Lynn (Dorset) Marquette. He graduated Sheldon High School and was employed at the Lamar Sheltered Workshop and attended the Nevada Assembly of God Church. Jeremy was loved deeply by all who knew him.

He loved movies, all types of music, and going for rides in fast cars! Jeremy would find simple beauties in life, such as watching animals play and cuddling babies! He especially loved to make people laugh with his special ways. He loved people fully, unconditionally and without fear.

Jeremy entered the gates of Heaven knowing Christ Jesus and His amazing love!

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Jackie (Terry) Marks, Sheldon, Mo.; a brother, Joe (Jill) Roos, Independence, Mo.; sisters, Kristi (Randy) Marquette, Spring Hill, Kan., LeAnn (Patrick) Creamer, Louisburg, Kan., and Anna (Steve) Garcia, Merriam, Kan.; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; 10 nephews and nieces; two great-nephews, and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Marquette.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 12, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Lamar, Mo.

There will be a visitation from 9 until 10 a.m., Friday, at Ferry Funeral Home.
