Tigers win against Carl Junction in overtime finish

Saturday marked Nevada’s Varsity’s second victory of the year, stealing the win in an overtime battle against the Carl Junction Bulldogs on the final day of the Kaminsky Classic. After losing against the Jefferson City Jays 60-25 Friday afternoon and losing to the Francis Howell Vikings Thursday after, the Tigers beat Carl Johnson on Saturday afternoon 66-63 to go 1-2 in the tournament. Nevada’s #2 Evan Rea had the highest points scored in the ball game, with 29 points awarded to him. “We were really proud of the guys' effort after two straight losses to come out and give everything we had this morning,” quoted Head Coach Shaun Gray.
