LaDonna Virgene (Orr) Bishop

LaDonna Bishop, 61, Versailles, Mo., formerly of Nevada, Mo., passed peacefully Jan. 29, 2022, at Nevada Regional Care Center. LaDonna married Chester Bishop Jan. 25, 1983, who survives at Chariton Park Health Care Center, Salisbury, Mo. Of this union survives Nicole Rene Woods (Jason) Millersburg, Mo.; Carla Holmes (Matthew), Jefferson City, Mo.; and a stepdaughter, Valarie Million (Justin), Sheldon, Mo.

LaDonna was born into a military family and considered herself to be a ‘Navy Brat’ who lived in countless places during her childhood. She loved people and especially enjoyed helping others. Her lifelong goal was to become a realtor and help others find their dream homes – instead she has found and gone on to her own dream home in Heaven.

Amongst the many people LaDonna loved are several grandchildren, Leland Scott Woods, Taylor Reece Woods, Desmon Bishop, and Haley Holmes; and stepgrandchildren, Brett O’Connor, Brooklynn O’Connor, and Britain Korsi.

LaDonna is survived by her mother, Belva (Pursley) Meisenheimer; sister, Ronda Feagan; and brothers, Jim Meisenheimer and Doug Mullins.

LaDonna’s best friend, Roy Murphy, survives of the home in Versailles.

Preceding her in death is her biological father, Vernon D. Orr; stepfather, James Meisenheimer; sister, Melissa Dupree; and grandson, Dalton Cain Bishop.

There will be no formal services. The family appreciates all thoughts and prayers in the loss of their beloved. She will not be forgotten.
