Nevada Flying Tigers bring home trophies at season's first drill competition

The Nevada Flying Tigers Air Force JROTC program participated in the Lee's Summit Invitational Drill Competition on Saturday, Feb. 5.
The first year marchers, commanded by Tyler Vance and Gabriel Adams, took home second place and a tie for third place, respectively, in the First Year Regulation Drill Without Weapons category.
The Lee's Summit competition kicks off the Flying Tigers' drill season. "Our drill season began today and we're already bringing home trophies," noted AFJROTC Instructor Col. Bryan Eckart on Saturday.
Cadet Ethan McGinnis was also officially named the Drill Team Commander for this season.
