Lyndall Duane Herdliska

Lyndall Duane Herdliska, age 67, of Nevada, Mo., passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

Lyndall was born, July 23, 1954, in Wichita, Kan., to Richard Ervin and Corlis Rose (Mulvania) Herdliska. He graduated from Ruskin High School in Kansas City, Mo., in 1972, and on March 2, 1973, he married Sandra Kay Huls and together they raised two children. He worked as a Master Plumber, and had worked several years for John Cox Classic Plumbing, in Peculiar, Mo.

Lyndall loved cooking at his home for his grandchildren and family gatherings, Christmas family vacations, was an avid KC Chief’s fan, and especially loved his dog, Taz.

Survivors include his companion, Mary Corzette of the home; a son, Joseph Herdliska and his wife, Lydia, of Springfield, Mo.; a daughter, Stacey Bruce, and her husband, Randall, of El Dorado Springs, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Jacob Ward, Hannah Ward, Elijah Gage, Lucas Gage, Austin Herdliska, Jonathan Herdliska, and Mark Herdliska; five great grandchildren, Emerley Ward, Lincoln York, Roper York, Izabella York, and Jacob Ward Jr.; two brothers, Darriel Herdliska and his wife Fran, Arizona, and Reber Herdliska and his wife Marsha, Freeman, Mo.; and two sisters, Regina Dreiling and her husband, Mark of Belton, Mo., and Lois Herdliska, of Plattsburg, Mo.

Preceded him in death were his wife, Sandra Kay Herdliska, in July of 2015; his parents; and a grandson, Anthony Herdliska.

A service for Lyndall will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 25, at Ferry Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to ­­­­­the family with the funeral home serving as custodian.
