Robert “Rob” Roman Weisensee

Robert “Rob” Roman Weisensee, 49, Walker, Mo., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, in Nevada. Rob was born Feb. 5, 1973, in Wheatridge, Colo., to Frank A. and Renee A. (Scougal) Weisensee. He was united in marriage to Kristina Lynn Wilson on May 13, 1995, in Springfield, Mo., and she survives of the home.

Rob came to Nevada with his family at a young age. He attended school in Nevada and Walker and graduated from high school in Gallup, N.M., in 1992 where he was a member of ROTC. Rob worked for Mueller’s Welding in Springfield, Mo., for several years. After returning to Nevada, he worked for Highland Dairy driving a delivery truck for several years, then Conway Trucking for a number of years where he drove a truck and later was dispatcher for five years. For the past ten years he worked at 3M in Nevada. He was the current Pastor of Christ Church in Nevada, and also attended Life Church. Rob enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, was a beekeeper, an avid outdoorsman, raised cattle and livestock, and especially loved being with his family.

In addition to his wife, Kristina, he is survived by four children, Michael Weisensee (Katelyn), Schell City, Mo., Christopher Weisensee of the home, Amber Weisensee, Nevada, and Rebecca Weisensee of the home; three grandchildren, Kade, Aaron, and Olivia Weisensee; parents, Frank and Renee Weisensee, Walker; five sisters, Christine Mitchem, Schell City, Lisa Christie (Lance), Nevada, Jennifer Gilpin (Kevin), Walker, Toni (Scougal) Vorce, Granite, Ill., and Terri (Scougal) Phillips, Walker; one brother, Devan Scougal, North Dakota; several nieces; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Deborah Wilson, Joplin; sister-in-law, Amy Clark (Garyn), Ozark, Mo., brother-in-law, Robert Wilson (Jackie), Aurora, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends, as well as his beloved dog, “Duke”. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Scougal; paternal grandparents, George and Marion Weisensee; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Phyllis Scougal.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the family farm on July 4, at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family in care of Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
