Griffons fail to strike gold against Peak Prospects

After a tough loss Wednesday night to the Des Moines Peak Prospects with the final score being 8-5, Nevada wanted nothing more than to send the Iowa team with their tails tucked between their legs leaving Missouri. Unfortunately for the Griffons, that wasn’t going to be the case. With #1 Collin Lacey on the rubber for Des Moines and #33 Steffan Fak on top of the mound for the Griffons, here is what happened Thursday night on a hot and humid day at the ballpark.
