Lanette Anne McInroy passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2022, at the age of 38. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

Lanette was born in Nevada, Mo., on Feb. 13, 1984, to parents Randy and Sandy Wallace. She was a 2002 graduate of Nevada High School where she was active in band and tennis.

Lanette married Zach McInroy on Oct. 25, 2003. They created a family together and continued to reside in Nevada. Being a mom to Molly Mae, Eli Zane, and Oscar Konner was one of her biggest joys. She was always creating memories by baking in the kitchen, making crafts, having sleepovers, caring for their pets, or going to park. They spent many weekends together traveling in their RV and exploring destinations near and far.

Lanette was compassionate, kind, and big hearted from a young age. It showed early on in her passion for animals and as she got older she found that healthcare would allow her to share her gift with others.

Lanette worked as a registered nurse in the Behavioral Health Unit at Nevada Regional Hospital. She was also a talented baker and showed her love for family and friends through delicious cupcakes and cakes.

Lanette is survived by her husband, Zach, and her children, Molly Mae, Eli Zane, and Oscar Konner, all of the home; parents, Randy and Sandy (Price) Wallace, Nevada; sister, Lindsay Douglas (Josh), Springfield, Mo.; parents in-law, Rick and Geri McInroy; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and special friends.

A Celebration of Life service will he held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 30, in the Ferry Funeral Home Chapel with Father Peter Savidge officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the McInroy Scholarship fund for her children through Ferry Funeral Home.
