Kirsten Michael Eiserer

Kirsten Michael Eiserer, 41, of Joplin, Mo., passed away on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Kirsten was born Aug. 7, 1981, in Kansas City, Mo., to Michael N. and Shirley Ann (Baxter) Eiserer.

He graduated in 2000 from Faith Christian Academy in Fort Scott, Kan. Following graduation he worked at Wood’s Supermarket in Nevada, Schreiber’s in Carthage, and then for Teleperformance in Joplin. Kirsten found it very rewarding to help people understand and resolve health insurance problems.

Kirsten grew up in church and accepted the Lord at a young age. He dealt with several health issues over the last few years, but always kept a positive attitude. He always had a joke on the tip of his tongue and wanted to share them with everyone.

Kirsten leaves behind his mother, Shirley of Nevada; a sister, Elizabeth Eiserer of Joplin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael; grandparents Raymond and Charlotte Baxter, and Jackie and Ruth Eiserer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
