James “Craig” Allen

James “Craig” Allen, 56, of Nevada, Mo., passed away late Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at his home in Nevada. Craig was born Dec. 18, 1965, in Manor, Ga., the son of Neil and Shirley Allen. He married his wife, Judy Allen, on Nov. 29, 2011. Craig worked as an over the road truck driver for 36 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Neil Allen; two brothers, Steve and Christopher Allen; and one grand baby, Kaydence. He was also preceded in death by his beloved dog, Peanut.

He leaves behind his wife, Judy Allen; his mother, Shirley Allen; sister, Cindy Gill; two daughters, Ashley and Torrie; stepson, Kalob, and his spouse Heather; three stepdaughters, Mercedes, and her spouse Kelsey, Audrey, and Haylee. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Nevaeh, Aden, Harley, Christina (aka his angel), Chandler, Bailey, Ava, and Jordyn; along with two nephews, Cody and Colby; two nieces, Jessica and Whitney; and several great-nieces and -nephews.

Craig was loved dearly by all and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the family in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
