Ralph Eugene McCrory

Ralph Eugene McCrory, 66, El Dorado Springs, Mo., passed away at his home on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. Ralph was born Sept. 19, 1955, in North Kansas City, Mo., the son of Ralph and Beatrice Marie (Malott) McCrory.

Ralph grew up in Bolivar, Mo., and graduated from Bolivar High School in 1973. He joined the US Air Force following high school and served four years, stationed in Germany.

Ralph lived in Colorado Springs, Colo., for many years and came to El Dorado Springs in 1992, where he lived the remainder of his life. He worked for Crane Plumbing for 18 years until their closing, and also a total of 14 years for Foam Fabrications.

His memberships included the El Dorado Springs American Legion, Nevada VFW, the Humane Society, and Nevada Eagles Lodge.

Ralph is survived by his sister, Emma Conner (Ronnie), Nevada, Mo.; brother, Robert McCrory (Janet), Nevada, Mo.; nieces, Alisha Faulconer (Cole), Monett, Mo., Alivia Conner, Springfield, Mo., and Candace Rowan (Dustin), Cullman, Ala.; and great-niece, Kaylea Rowan and great-nephew, Tyler Rowan, both of Cullman, Ala. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Allison Conner.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Deepwood Cemetery, in Nevada, Mo., with Tyler Hackleman officiating. Memorials to the Vernon County Animal Shelter are suggested and can be made in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
