Dr. David Allen Taylor, MD

Dr. David Allen Taylor, MD, 67, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. David was born March 7, 1955, in East St. Louis, Ill., to James Allen and Ruby E. (Tabor) Taylor.

David was born and raised in Illinois. He attended Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center where he graduated in 1982 with a Doctorate in Psychiatry. David came to Nevada from Illinois where he had worked as a psychiatric counselor for several years. Following his move to Nevada, David worked as a psychiatrist at Nevada Regional Medical Center for 12 years before retiring in 2019.

He is survived by his husband, DeWayne A. Bush of Fort Scott, Kan.; a sister, Carol Taylor, Nevada; two stepdaughters; two stepsons; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
