Regina Ann Cripps

Regina Ann Cripps passed away Dec. 7, 2022, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 78-years-old.

Gina was a wife, mother, sister, and friend. She spent her professional career as a real estate agent in Tulsa and Dallas. A dynamic, vivacious, and captivating person, Gina was a friend to many. She was always known to say that she would be friends with anybody as long as they were interesting! Gina loved to cook, decorate her home, and care for her garden.

In 1993 she met Lawrence Cripps of Nevada, Mo., at a Tommy Dorsey concert in Joplin, Mo. Lawrence’s kindness, generosity, and persistence ultimately resulted in matrimony. They were married in 1994. Gina moved to Nevada and made a home with Lawrence until his death in 2019. 

She is survived by a loving family. Her passion for life, her unconditional love and support of her family and friends, and her indefatigable spirit will always be remembered, treasured, and serve as inspiration for those that knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada, with Bob Beaver officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery in Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Masonic Home of Missouri, Disabled American Veterans, or Vernon County Cancer Relief in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
