Daniel Ralph Houdeshell Jr., also known as Jake, 97, Nevada, Mo., died on Monday, June 19, 2023.

The funeral service with Masonic Rites will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, at Ferry Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sheldon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Vernon County Cancer Relief Fund, with the funeral home serving as custodian.
