Deanna Marie Morrell

Deanna “Marie” Morrell, 68, Nevada, MO passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. Marie was born November 14, 1957 in Ft. Scott, KS to William J. and Lois Mae (Houston) Cooper.

     Marie graduated from Nevada High School in 1975 and then attended Ft. Scott Community College for one year. She worked in Food Service at Nevada Regional Hospital for a number of years until she retired due to an illness.

     Survivors include one son, Benjamin Michael Morrell (Abby), Ft. Scott, KS; one daughter, Angela Pettibon, Richards, MO; a brother, Donald Cooper (Linda), Arcadia, KS; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Jasmine; a brother, Danny Cooper; and a son-in-law, Jamie Pettibon.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
