Evangeline “Eve” Judie Beeman, 64, Nevada, MO passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at her home in Nevada. Eve was born September 26, 1959 in St. Charles, MO to Charles E. and Joy M. (Schultz) Beeman. She married Alan Gordon on November 21, 1986 in Nevada, MO and they were blessed with two daughters.

Eve was raised in St. Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School Class of 1977. Following high school, she moved to Nevada and began working at Moore-Few Care Center as a nurse’s aide. She later went to work at Nevada State Hospital in 1983 as a Developmental Aide until her retirement in 2011. She enjoyed playing “Farmville” computer games, watching True Crime Shows on TV, crocheting, baking, and being with her family – especially her grandchildren. Eve was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Nevada where she currently served as treasurer.

Survivors include two daughters, Katie Yockey, Nevada, Kayla Underwood (Tim), Nevada: six grandchildren, Sean Yockey, Haleigh Yockey, Emma Yockey, Jerod Hendrix, Tayten Underwood, and Ember Underwood; mother, Joy Beeman, Nevada; one niece, one nephew, and several cousins; and her companion, Randi Boston, Neosho, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, Doug Beeman, and several aunt’s and uncles.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Megan Allen officiating.
