Carson “Mac” Allen

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carson “Mac” Allen, aged 77 years. In the evening on March 7th, 2024, in Eugene Oregon Mac lost his battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Judy Allen, his son Shane Allen and daughter-in-law Sara Allen, two younger brother’s Marc Mason and John McDermott both of Nevada Missouri, three younger sisters JoAnn McDermott of Cainsville Missouri, Linda Gammon of Sheldon Missouri, and Norma Smith of Blue Springs Missouri. He was a grandfather to Tyler Allen, Quincy Ann Allen, Sawyer Allen, Sadie Jo Allen, Carsyn Allen, Landree Allen, Isabella Allen, and Liam Allen, and he had 9 great grand children.

Born January 26, 1947, in Nevada Missouri, he spent his early childhood in Vallejo California, Chicago Illinois, and Nevada Missouri. In his late teens he moved to Eugene Oregon where he met his wife and best friend for the last 57 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and riding motorcycles. He grew apples, dates, plums, and grapes for his homemade wines. He was a self-made man with an entrepreneurial spirit. He owned and operated The Pallet Company, a successful small business for 17 years in Nevada Missouri and taught himself to be a successful stock market investor. He spent the last 30 years being retired, traveling the United States, and living his best life.
