A little bit of change becomes a chunk of help to hungry students

Nevada High School senior Kyler Cox got to “pie” NHS Principal Robert Miner Friday, Nov. 22, as a result of a $50 donation to the Renaissance Club’s Penny Wars project to help stock the high school food pantry for student assistance.

All that’s in the house is enough PB&J for the one sandwich you just made. That should be enough to hold you until a hot breakfast at the high school commons tomorrow morning, unless of course you have a little fourth grade brother or sister in the house. Then you pass the sandwich on to your sibling and go start your homework to take your mind off the growling in your stomach.
