Raymond Eugene Sellars, 64, of Missouri, passed away on June 4, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1960, and lived a life of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Deanna Sellars; father, Floyd Sellars; and his beloved son, Kyle Sellars.

He is survived by many family and friends, including two grown children, Johna Harrington (Curtis) and Sage VanDyke, and his cherished grandchildren Kael Sellars, Kellan Sellars, Leona VanDyke, Matthew VanDyke, Colson Kimmel VanDyke, Caden Harrington, and Jaxten Harrington.

Ray was a pillar of strength throughout the many challenges he faced head on over the past 5 years, leaving a legacy of perseverance and grit. Throughout his life, Ray worked in construction, conservation, and road management, but his truest passions were found in the woods and on the water. He spent countless hours exploring the woods, hunting, fishing, camping, and floating the spring-fed rivers of Missouri. He cherished all of the memories he made camping with family over the years. The farm was one of his favorite places, especially when he could share it with his grandchildren.

Ray was a lifelong fan of The Grateful Dead, often sharing light-hearted memories from their concerts. His love for nature, music, and his family defined the way he lived — simply, freely, and with heart.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial will be held by family and friends to honor Ray at a later date.
