Evan Russell York

Evan Russell York, 32, Nevada, MO, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Evan was born December 3, 1992 in Kansas City, MO to James Russell and LeeDonna Ann (Loiselle) York.

Evan is survived by his father, James “Jim” York and his stepmother, M. Gay McGlochien;  a brother, Ethan James York (Hannah); grandmother, Bertha York, Nevada; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews . He was preceded in death by his mother, LeeDonna Ann York; grandparents, Russell G. York, Donald Loiselle, and Dixie Lee (Loiselle) Hendricks; uncles, David L. York, and Richard Loisele; aunts, Beverly A. (Griggs) York, and Danita (Loiselle) Hutchison.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating. Committal will follow in Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon, MO.
