Bob grew up in Schell City, Missouri, and graduated from Schell City High School in 1976. During his school years, he worked at Ted’s Standard Service for Ted Thomas and was involved in many school clubs. After graduation, Bob began his career at Tractor Supply in Nevada, Missouri. In 1979, Bob began working at Schell City T&T for Linda’s grandfather, Floyd Phillips. He devoted his career to the business, eventually inheriting it in 1988 and continuing to serve his community through it for the rest of his life. That same year, Bob and Linda began raising cattle, starting with 8 head gifted by Floyd Phillips.

A strong pillar of the Schell City community, Bob was known for his hard work, loyalty, and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a dependable friend, a devoted husband and father, and a proud grandfather.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his wife, Linda, especially on Stockton Lake. He loved taking his grandchildren fishing and cheering on his favorite teams, the Nevada Tigers, Parsons Vikings, and Kansas City Chiefs.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Linda, of the home in Walker; two sons, Chad Majors and his wife Bonnie of Nevada, Missouri, and Brad Majors and his wife LouAnn of Nevada, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Maddy Thorp and her husband Matt, Mason Majors, Alexia Ludwig, Maleia Ludwig, Peyton Walker, and Chase Radspinner; siblings Sharon Sanderson and her husband Roger, Linda Highfill, Doug Majors and his wife Jody, Lori (wife of the late Gary Majors), Jodi Harms and her husband Mark, and Bill Majors and his wife Betty; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
