City approves ordinance to rezone 'Pete's area' of West Austin Boulevard

When the Nevada City Council met for a regular meeting Tuesday evening, Nov. 4, the members unanimously voted on the second reading of an ordinance to rezone a portion of West Austin Boulevard.

The passage of ordinance means half of each block on the west and east side of Austin Boulevard between South Clay Street and South Adams Street will be rezoned from mixed zoning to C-3 Commercial.
