Nevada High School Swim Team brings home hardware

Swimmers from the Nevada High School boys swim team celebrate with family, friends, and supporters the evening of Friday, Nov. 14 after returning from the Class 1 MSHSAA State Championship swim meet. The team was welcomed back into town by an escort of local first responders and a trail of cars filled with family and friends from the city limits to the high school.

Flashing lights, sirens, cheering families welcomed the Nevada High School boys swim team Friday evening as they pulled into Nevada returning home from the 2025 Class 1 MSHSAA Boys State Swim Meet.

The welcome home was planned and executed by parents and supporters of the team and was a complete surprise to the swimmers.
