Nevada Lady Tigers open season with much optimism with win over Lebanon 65-38

As we enter the holiday season, the high school athletic calendar moves its focus from the fall to the winter sports. Excitement builds around the fortunes of the women’s swimming, wrestling and basketball teams. The Nevada Lady Tigers basketball squad is coming off a 2024-25 season that saw them finish with a share of the Big 8 Conference title and a 16-8 record. Off of this squad, they return four starters and a standout player in Lucy Swearingen (12.2 ppg) who had her sophomore season end early due to a knee injury.
