Lady Tigers prevail over Mount Vernon, extend winning streak to 7 games

The Nevada Lady Tigers varsity opened Big 8 Conference play against Mt. Vernon on Monday night at Wynn Gymnasium on the campus of Nevada High School. Nevada is coming off a 48-33 win over Carl Junction back on December 18. Nevada came into the contest averaging 53 points per game while giving up 35 points on defense. The Mountaineers, 2-7, are averaging 41 points per game on offense while giving up 64 points on defense. Nevada holds a 4-3 advantage over last seven games dating back to 2018.
