Nettie Louise Chadd

Nettie Louise Chadd, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her home in Milo, MO.  Nettie was born on April 17, 1954, in Joplin, MO to Warden and Laura (Cartwright) Pate.

She married Glenn R. Chadd on December 24, 1983, and he survives of the home.

    Nettie grew up in Louisiana and Nevada, MO.  She was a graduate of Nevada High School.  Primarily a homemaker, Nettie also worked several retail customer service jobs throughout her life.  She loved going to the casino but her greatest love and enjoyment was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

     In addition to her husband, Glenn; survivors include her four children, Mark Chadd, Matt Chadd (Carla), Marti Jones (Adam), and Marci Dunlap (Brett), all of Milo, MO; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Diane Brahm (Wally), Kokomo, IN, and Shirley Hunley (Marty), Holland, MI.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eddie Joe Pate and Warden Jack Pate, Jr.; granddaughter, Marisa; and great-granddaughter, Eloise.  

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Ferry Funeral Home with Dr. Jerod Lamb officiating.   Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Milo, MO. Friends may call until the hour of service at the funeral home.
