Betty Irene Holder Stanley, of Stockton, died peacefully on June 2, her 91st birthday. She was born in Caplinger Mills, Mo., on June 2, 1927, to Lionel James and Inez Holder. She was the oldest of seven children. On May 5, 1945, she was united in marriage to Francis Stanley who preceded her in death in 1984. To this union, six children were born. In addition to raising six children, Irene worked at the Nevada State Hospital for 25 years from which she retired in 1989...
