Virgil G. Uttinger, 73, Nevada, MO, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Medicialodges of Nevada following a lengthy illness.  Virgil was born January 18, 951 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Claud and Mable M. (Barnes) Uttinger   Virgil, was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raymond Uttinger of Springfield, MO.  He is survived by his wife, Lela Faye Uttinger, and ason, Jacob Uttinger, both of the home; two sisters, Claudia Wheeler (Donald), and Patricia Ann Rogers (Gerry) of Fort Scott, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Peggy Uttinger of Springfield, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.. ...

John Wayne Cannon, age 84, of Nevada, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home on October 27, 2025.   John was born on March 16, 1941, in Hale Center, Texas, where he graduated from high school. In May of 1959, he married the love of his life, Patsy Ann Merrell. Together they shared 45 wonderful years of marriage before Patsy preceded him in death on December 2, 2004.
