Aaron Becker, 87, of Moundridge, Kan., formerly of Rich Hill, Mo., died Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge, Kan. He was born Sept. 4, 1916, to Jacob B. and Mary Unruh Becker in McPherson County, Kan.
On Feb. 4, 1940, he was married to Hannah Koehn in Galva, Kan.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Hannah Becker, of Moundridge, Kan.; one son, John Becker, Aurora, N.Y.; two daughters, Betty Koehn, Jamesport, Mo., and Linda Toews, Madrid, Neb.; two brothers, Jesse Becker, Roxbury, Kan., and Martin Becker, Moundridge, Kan.; two sisters, Dora Koehn, of Moundridge, Kan., and Myrtle Koehn, Fredonia, Kan.; 12 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Albert Becker; four sisters, Clara, Martha, Bertha and Frieda; and one son, Jay Becker.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 6, at the Bethany Mennonite Church in Rich Hill, Mo., with Minister Gary Schmidt and Minister Dale Becker officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Mar. 5, at Bethany Mennonite Church, Rich Hill, Mo. Burial in the Bethany Mennonite Cemetery in Rich Hill. Contributions may be made to the Moundridge Manor Nursing Home. Services were under the direction of the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Mo.
