He grew up in Schell City and attended Schell City School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe from 1942 to 1946. He worked as a mechanic for three GM dealerships in Nevada having worked for Cobb, Hennessey's, and later Guthrie Motors until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Nevada.
Survivors include one son, Terry K. Mosher, Nevada; one daughter, Melvonna Schneider, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one stepson, Albert Spencer, Wichita, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two stepsons; and six brothers, Harold Mosher, Edwin Mosher, James Mosher, Kenneth Mosher, Ralph Mosher and Roy Mosher.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, Schell City. The family receives friends 7 to 8 p.m. today at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and friends may call now and until 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Calvary Baptist Church, Arch and Cedar, Nevada.
