Praise for a job well done

Dear editor:

The Bushwhacker Committee and all participants should be congratulated for a job well done for the 2004 Bushwhacker Days. the entertainment was certainly great, and thanks to all those who sponsored them.

The parade was outstanding; and I would like to ask the public to be more supportive of the efforts. Some of these people travel long distances to participate and we certainly should give them a round of applause and wave -- to say the least. I hate to see everyone just sit while the parade goes by. Wave, applaud, even whistle and call out names if you know them.

Don't just sit there.
