Tiger boys play road game in Warrensburg

The Nevada Tigers were in Warrensburg Saturday as they played their final game before beginning Southwest Conference action.

The Tigers (5-3) playedtheir first game since Monday, after having Thursday's matchup against Pleasant Hill postponed because of bad weather.

Nevada is coming off a 47-42 win over Butler on Monday that saw the Tigers erase a 12-point halftime deficit.

With the postponement of Thursday's game, the Tigers have only played one game in the past 22 days.

After facing Warrensburg, the Tigers will go to Webb City Tuesday, then will be at home to face McDonald County Thursday.

The following week the Tigers will host Carthage and Neosho, completing their first round of games against their Southwest Conference foes.

The game against Pleasant Hill has been tentatively scheduled for Jan. 22.

The Nevada Tiger Classic will be Jan. 25-29.
