Nova June Tracy, 70, Belton, Mo., died Feb. 25, 2005, at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She was born June 1, 1934, in Ava, Mo., to Joseph O. Huffman and Bertha Bell Privett Huffman. She was married June 23, 1953, in Nevada, to Leland Tracy who survives of the home.
She moved to Kansas City, Mo., from Nevada in the 1960s. In 1990 she and her husband, Leland, moved to Belton, Mo., where she lived the remainder of life. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
In addition to her husband, Leland, survivors include one son, Richard Allen Tracy, Liberty, Mo.; one daughter, Lisa Jo Priddy, Belton, Mo.; five grandchildren; and one twin sister, Nola York, Kansas City, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lawrence V. Huffman, Luin Huffman and Calvin Huffman; and one sister, Roma Witchey.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, at Newton Burial Park in Nevada, with John Nichols officiating. Pallbearers were David York, Delbert York, Isaac Staton, David Priddy, Rick Tracy and Ronald Tracy. Interment was in Newton Burial Park, Nevada
