She lived for many years in Arcadia and Fort Scott, but due to her declining health she moved to a convalescent home in Livermore, Calif., in 2001 to be near her daughter. She was a member of the Arcadia Christian Church and 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ideal Chapter 369.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Dougery, Pleasanton, Calif.; one granddaughter; three sisters, Marjorie Lewis, Fort Scott, Kan., Isabel Shull, Vancouver, Wash., and Dorothy Bullock, of Kirksville, Mo.; and three brothers, Herbert Singmaster, Ripon, Wis., Eugene Singmaster, Holy Yoke, Colo., and Donald Singmaster, Cleveland, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Fowler; her parents; three brothers, Harold Singmaster, Robert Singmaster and Brown Singmaster; and one sister, Jane Little.
She was cremated. Burial of the cremains will be at Fort Scott National Cemetery at a private family service. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at the Arcadia Christian Church.
