Leona Violet Parker, 79, Fort Scott, Kan., died early Thursday, May 19, 2005.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Sue Willis, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Suzanne Michelle Peel, Fort Scott, Kan.; four grandchildren; and three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law. In addition to her husband, James Parker, she was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eva McHolland.

The Rev. Paul Rooks will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, May 24, at Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel in Fort Scott. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Cheney Witt Chapel.
