Rolando, Oakes engagement

Tony and Anita Rolando, of Nevada, Mo., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Charity Rolando, to Jacob Oakes, son of Darrel and Paula Oakes of Neosho, Mo.

Bride-elect Rolando is a 1999 graduate of Nevada High School and a 2001 graduate of Missouri Southern State College and a 2003 graduate of Ozark Christian College. She is currently employed by Economic Security Corp. as a health and disability assistant.

Prospective-groom Oakes is a 2002 graduate of Neosho High School. He is currently attending Missouri Southern State University where he is pursuing a vocal performance degree. He is currently employed by Orscheln Farm & Home in Neosho.

Jacob and Charity are planning a July 2, 2005, wedding at the Southside Apostolic Faith Church in Joplin, Mo., at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The couple will reside in Neosho.
