Rich Hill woman robbed of $500 by purse snatcher

Mrs. Chas. Miller, a resident of the north part of the city, reported a sensational and purse snatching robbery at 10:30 this Tuesday morning. Mrs. Miller says she was coming down fifth street carrying a purse containing $500 in cash, with which she intended paying some store bills, and when she reached the alley between the Moffit Motor Company and the Parkview Hotel, a stranger grabbed her purse from beneath her arm and darted east down the alley and disappeared. City Marshal Campbell was at once notified and began a search for the robber, says the Rich Hill Review.
